A dial on top of the light body allows you to gradually increase or decrease light output, peaking at 500 lumens from the white chip on board (C.O.B.) LED array. To prevent “night-blinding,” an anti-glare red LED option makes it easy to read in the dark or navigate with less reflection. The battery housing located at the back of the non-slip head strap can be powered by three AAA alkaline batteries (included) or be upgraded to operate on a COAST ZITHION-X™ rechargeable battery (sold separately). A rear-facing safety signal on the back of the battery housing shines in solid red or flashing red with its own on/off switch so that co-workers, passersby, or others can spot you easily in the dark. Constructed of top-grade materials, the RL10 is IP54 water-resistant and dust-resistant and backed by a lifetime warranty.
