The emergency
shut-off tool is engineered for turning off water or gas lines in case of
emergency. It is constructed from corrosion-resistant cast aluminum for
excellent durability and resistance to sparking. The vibrant yellow
emergency color makes identification of the tool easy, and the ergonomic grip
helps improve operability in wet conditions. On the bottom of the tool
there is a large pentagonal wrench for opening water meter boxes and a pry tool
to help lift box lids. Use the slot end to turn off the water inside the
box. Use the slot marked “GAS” to shut off gas at the meter. The triangular
hammer tip is useful for breaking glass. This tool is meant for emergency use.
